It’s been another successful year for the Nhill Book Fair. Thousands of books have been donated, thousands more sold. The book fair is a fundraiser for the Nhill Aviation Heritage Centre and in 2025 a total of $7600.00 was donated. The Book Fair Crew would like to thank everyone who has generously supported the book fair.
In July the book fair began fundraising for a special project to create a native and low-maintenance garden on the eastern side of the Ahrens Hangar. The target amount is $5000. With thanks to Owen Clark for advice and suggestions, the planning of this project is well underway. It was hoped that the target would be reached before May 2026 so that planting could begin in Autumn and with the current total of $4077 everything looks to be on track for a garden to be established this year.
