Yanac Hockey Club are celebrating 51 years of hockey. Since 1975 approximately 740 players have registered and played on a Yanac team. While currently there are three Yanac teams; Tigers, Women and Warriors. We have also had Boyo’s, Lowan Stars and Eagles over the years. These teams have won a massive 47 Premierships and 35 Runner Ups. Now we want to get as many Yanac players, supporters and friends together as possible, to celebrate our wonderful team, once a dream of two local women, now a place to learn and love the game of Hockey.
On August 8th Yanac are hosting round 13 of the WHA 2026 season and will also be hosting a Back To for all past and present players, supporters and friends. The day will begin with the Under 16 games at 9.30am and hockey will continue throughout the day with the last game finishing at 5.00pm. Alongside the hockey action during the day, there will be some fun hockey games, taking place at the ground. With everyone invited to join in. The Yanac canteen will be open for lunch, and refreshments throughout the day.
