For many years, the Lions Club of Nhill Inc. have given credit to people in the community who have “gone above and beyond” by way of freely giving service to those who needed a helping hand. Over recent years, special recognition has been awarded to a number of folk within the Nhill community.
2023 was the inaugural Nhill Lions Club Australia Day Citizen Award recognition. Now, in 2026, the Lions Club of Nhill Inc. continue to recognize and acknowledge a member of the community who has shown, by their actions and selflessness over the past 12 months [probably over many years], a voluntary willingness to help others at a cost to themselves of their time and talents.
