Round 14 of WHA hockey saw NDSC – Hockey Division play a home game at Davis Park, Nhill. The day was overcast and sunny at times and a beautiful hockey day! Nhill played against all Warracknabeal teams, with three wins and a loss.
Nhill hockey celebrated Helen’s 200th senior club game played this week, as well as the recent milestone of umpiring her 150th game for Nhill. With some WHA records MIA, both these milestones were likely passed some time ago, however this was a fantastic day celebrating them! Each are fantastic achievements in themselves. Helen leads on and off the field, and 2026 is her ninth consecutive year as Nhill hockey division manager, an integral part of the club for many years and Nhill hockey is lucky to have her talents and service!
