Kaniva Cancer Council group held their Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday 28th May at the Community HUB. We sold 85 door tickets, which was great and we also had some pre-schoolers who had a special area for food and activities.
Heather Wallis – Leader of the group welcomed everyone and explained that the funds raised by Cancer Council helps finance research for new treatments which helps to prevent cancer in some way. It also helps patients and their families who are going through treatment, especially when they have to be away from home during this process.
