Last week, Nhill Cancer Group held their annual Daffodil Day Fundraising Events. We kicked off with our stand at the local Nhill IGA Supermarket from Monday 17 August through to Wednesday 19 August.
Our small group of volunteers were there with Cancer Council Merchandise and raffle tickets to sell, and accepting very generous donations from the Nhill and District Community. We are very thankful to Scott McCurdy, the Manager of the local Nhill IGA, for allowing us to use the fundraising space for three days, but also for the arrival of 50 bunches of Daffodils on Tuesday, that were personally donated by Scott and his supplier, Just Fresh. Your generosity is amazing and very much appreciated. On Tuesday, we also received another donation of 40 daffodils from our other annual supplier, Horsham Florist, who every year generously donates their beautiful daffodils to us, so a huge thank you goes to them as well.
