On Wednesday, March 25th, eleven Probians boarded a minibus in front of the Nhill Uniting Church shortly after 9am for a day out.
The first stop was Good Country Hemp in Bordertown where we were met by the owners, Mick and Linda Anderson, who introduced us to their business which produces premium quality hemp foods. A video presentation showed the hemp growing locally under irrigation in partnership with local licenced farmers. After being assured that we would not test positive to any illicit substances, we were given the opportunity to sample their processed hemp seed and some of the various flavoured oils and salad dressings that they produce on site.
