At our recent meeting, and in recognition of September being Childhood Cancer Awareness month, Chloe Stephens spoke of her amazing daughter’s cancer journey
In May 2023 shortly after her 3rd birthday, Ava Stephens was diagnosed with cancer. Ava was flown to the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne where ultrasounds and X-rays showed a huge mass on Ava’s left kidney. This mass was that big that it took up the entire left side of her stomach, from her ribs down to her pelvis.
