On Saturday 7th February, local volunteer Ruby Cameron, received a very big surprise…. You see, planning, whispering, and organising had been going on for months to give Ruby a surprise 80th Birthday Party.
“Partners in crime” – Phyllis Pye, Debbie Johnston, along with Ruby’s son Terry, his wife Michelle and family had secretly plotted to give Ruby a special celebration on this milestone occasion. Members of the Nhill Lions Club, Senior Citizens members, CWA members, plus other organizations, friends and family descended on the Lions’ Den just before 2pm on the Saturday.
