Sunday 20th of September dawned promising a gorgeous sunny spring day. The Nhill Lions Club members were pleased and hoping the warm weather continued ….
However, as was forecast, the wind arrived – at first just breezy but as the minutes ticked toward 12 noon it began picking up strength. As stall holders held on to their gazebo poles [all safely screwed in the ground] it became increasingly obvious that the windy conditions would increase.
